CGA: Center for Global Action, a leadership/discipleship program I attend through the non-profit organization called Adventures in Missions. In October 2016, I launched to spend 9 months doing missions across the world. The program is called World Race Gap Year and is with the same organization. I traveled to 4 different countries; Cambodia, Thailand, Malawi, and Guatemala. We lived with a different host family in each country and they provided us with the needs of the community we were living in. In some places, this may have looked like teaching English to children and adults and just being a light in their own broken places, and sometimes it looked like soccer games with a Bible study for boys living in a village where crime is high among young men. I was in Thailand in December, where our ministry was house visits with intentionality and prayer in a community. At the end of these weeks, we threw Christmas parties for the communities, opening up the space for the people to come together as a whole and be a family. I once got up in front of an entire school and told them all the Christmas story of Jesus for the first time ever, because no one had ever told them. Sometimes ministry is challenging, but to push through and see the fruit is incredible. I shared the gospel to a deaf woman who spoke no English one night, and I prayed healing for days over a blind woman who didn’t have the faith that the Father would show up for her. It’s really beautiful to look back and see the ways the Father was teaching and stretching me. I loved to see the places and ways He is working in this world. This 9 months was such an incredible adventure and space for me to grow further into who the Lord has created me to be.

This October, I began a new adventure in discipleship school. Here at CGA, we are given the space to grow closer with the Lord, learn skills to become a better leader, and how to disciple well. The Lord is calling me into a place of leadership, and right now He is asking me to learn from really great leaders, what it looks like to do that well.

I will learn how to lead well on the field so that after the program, I can hopefully lead a mission trip myself which I have a heart for.

My heart is full for middle/high school age girls, because I feel that’s the time I stepped into a place of needing to find my identity, but also not finding it in the right places. I allowed my need for people pleasing to overbear my confidence in who I was in the Lord. I still struggle with my identity today. As being in CGA, I have just now seen things the Lord has been highlighting from that time in my life that I have carried into this season and into my identity.

So as I struggle with that today, my heart only grows larger to be a disciple to girls who are in need of knowing where their worth comes from. I know the Lord has called me right here to learn how to do that well and I am so excited for all that’s coming. If you want to hear more about what the Lord is speaking over me in this season and what is happening and to come, don’t be afraid to call me and ask all about it. I am open to being vulnerable with you and letting you know where I am at because I know the Lord has in hand all over this season. I can already see it so clearly.

With all of that being said, I want to ask for your prayers and encouragement because this season is already becoming difficult to walk through, but I see so much fruit getting ready to be produced.

This program costs a total of $5,950, and so far I have raised $2,336. PRAISE JESUS

Thank you all who have been supporting me and for those who believe in the work that the Father is doing in me.

I now have one month to raise $3,614 to continue this program. I believe that the Lord has promised this to me and I wholeheartedly believe He will fulfill His promise. Would you prayerfully consider financially partnering with me so that we can do this together?

You can click donate if you feel the Lord stirring in your heart.

I am so grateful for the support I receive and I promise to keep you all updated on how things are going over here in Gainesville.

THANK YOU & LOVE YOU

God Bless,
